It's not to say that the Lord can't save sex offenders and redeem them, but the office of the minister holds authority and comes with particular challenges. So, someone who maybe has a history of abuse or sexual abuse, I would see that as disqualifying for the pastorate. That doesn't mean that they're not a Christian or can't be a Christian, but there needs to be accountability. – Pastor Adriel Sanchez
